EIB’s DJ Seihor dies in a motor accident after bagging ‘prestigious’ award
Award-winning radio DJ, Seihor has been confirmed dead after his involvement in a tragic motorbike accident on the Madina-Adenta road Monday dawn, ABC News can report.
DJ Seihor, who worked with EIB Network and was attached to Kasapa FM, a subsidiary of the media organisation is reported to have crashed his motorbike around 2 a.m. Monday whiles plying the Madina-Adenta route.
The deceased emerged the winner of the “Battle of Our Time” category at the 2019 Ghana DJ Awards held in Accra Saturday night.
DJ Seihor, who occasionally played for the ‘Star Chat’ show on Starr FM hosted by Bola Ray every Wednesday, also performed at the Ghana DJ Awards’ ‘Beach Party In Ghana’.
The demise of the celebrated DJ barely 48 hours after he had clinched an enviable award at the prestigious awards ceremony to honour well-deserving DJs has sent tongues wagging particularly within the showbiz fraternity.
Friends and colleagues who got wind of the sudden incident took to social media to mourn the deceased, with many touting his talent and contribution to the entertainment industry.
“Can’t believe our handshake backstage this Saturday at Ghana Dj awards was U saying goodbye to me and I didn’t even know! Horrific motor accident on Madina Adenta Road. Dj Seihor, so sorry for your demise but we shall meet in paradise, so in the meantime continue to SEIHOR,” popular Ghanaian comedian, DKB tweeted.
