Elders of Juaboso begs Bawumia for a Car

Elders and a section of the people of Juaboso in the Western North Region have expressed appreciation to the Vice President Dr. Alhaji Muhamadu Bawumia for donating to the District Chief Imam of Juaboso a 4X 4 Nissan vehicle recently.

While thanking the Veep and his administration for this feat, they intimated that the chief imam, Alhaji Addrisu Musa should equally be given a vehicle. They said the Chief imam is not the only personality there who is in dire need of a car and that the chief of the town (Juaboso) Nana Kwasi Mensah II also deserve one.

In an interview after this presentation, some of the people noted that Nana had been incapacitated in his movements to ease development for the town and its district.

They  indicated that after his elevation recently, his status and duties have subsequently increased, since to whom more is given, much is expected. The elders comprising the Abusuapanin Kwadwo Mensah, Dwantoahene Thomas Tannor and Abakomahene Kwadwo Beniel maintained that  their request was not meant to rival with that of the chief imam.

However, since they are all charge with the development of the District they all needed equal attention stressing that even the chiefs responsibility far outweighed the chief imams. This is because the chief imams responsibility was a subset of the chiefs “What is good for the ganders is equally good for the  goose” they argued

They also congratulated the president and Veep on the one year success story of the NABCO programme, which had coincided with the veep’s birthday, which has also happened in the same month of October:

The elders insisted that with these development, and all hands on deck, with the needed and necessary inputs as mobility, all will help push governments national programmes and policies ahead, effecting them from the district, since” charity begins at home ! They intimated .

They appealed to the veep to liaise with his boss and have the chiefs problem addressed for him, to enable him accelerated development there
