Election Petition: Tsatsu Tsikata Accuses Supreme Court Judge Of “Harassing His Witness With Opinions”

Now, the 2020 elections petition hearing is getting interesting and exciting as Lead Counsel for the petitioner, Tsatsu Tsikata and the judges lock horn over what the Counsel deems a barrage of harassment against his witness.

Tsatsu is seen raising vehement objections against one of the judges, trying to enter into a banter with the witness, after posing few questions.

My Lords with the greatest of respect, you can’t use your opinion to harass the witness. That is harassment of my witness with your opinions,” Tsatsu forcefully repeats his objections in court.

Dr Kpessah-White appears in court and mounts the witness box for cross examination in the ongoing election petition.

The lawyers for the 1st and 2nd defendants try hard to discredit the two witnesses for the petitioner, John Dramani Mahama. The first witness to appear was Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, the General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

The judges adjourned the proceedings to Wednesday, 2nd February 2021, at 9:30 am
