Eno Ofori-Atta has been hired by Agricultural Development Bank Plc (ADB) to serve as the organization’s new Deputy Managing Director.
Her appointment will be in place starting on December 1, 2022.
In her position, she will support the Managing Director in providing strategic leadership and direction for the bank to maintain its primary emphasis on agricultural finance while ranking among the best banks in the nation.
“Eno Ofori-Atta is an accomplished professional with over 15 years of experience in banking and financial services, providing strategic leadership, and building high performance teams across business units and functions at various levels,” according to a press release from the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) that was sighted Ghanatodayonline.com.
She has extensive expertise in promoting corporate expansion, managing credit, risk, and human resources, developing business systems, developing strategic plans, and enhancing internal control systems and procedures.
Prior to her appointment, Mrs. Ofori-Attah managed the re-definition of the business strategy, transformational programs, and operational improvements during her five years as group managing director of SIC-Financial Services.
She formerly served as both the Chief Risk Officer and the Chief Executive Officer of the Payflex Microfinance Company and Women’s World Banking Ghana.
According to the press release, she has held a variety of leadership positions during her extensive career, including Branch Operations Manager, Head of Administration and Human Resources, Head of Risk, and Head of Credit Operations.
Mrs. Ofori-Atta is a graduate of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, where she also earned a bachelor’s degree in social sciences and a master’s degree in business administration (Law & Sociology).
The ADB Managing Director, Mr Alhassan Yakubu-Tali, congratulated Mrs Ofori-Atta on the appointment and said “Eno brings to the fore a very rich banking experience which will immensely benefit the growth of the Bank.”
