Ghana’s Black Stars will today discover their group stage opponents for November’s 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament in Qatar today.
Ghana oovercame Nigeria in a two-legged playoffs in matches on March 25 and 29 in Kumasi and Abuja respectively.
After a goalless stalemate at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi on Friday March 25, Ghana had a good chance of making it to the tournament by avoiding defeat and at least getting a scoring draw.
Ghana drew 1-1 in Abuja at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja to qualify for their fourth World Cup tournament.
Ghana are in port 4 and will know their group opponents today after this evening’s draw in Doha, Qatar.
