The Minister for Finance, Hon Mohammed Amin Adam will tomorrow, July 23, 2024 present before Parliament the Mid-year Budget statement and Economic Policy.
The notice was issued to the House by the deputy Majority Leader, Patricia Appiagyei.
“Mr Speaker, the business committee has programmed the minister for finance to present a statement on the Mid-Year Review of Budget Statement and Economic Policy of the government for the 2024 financial year on Tuesday, July 23, 2024.”
The presentation of Mid-Year Fiscal Policy is in accordance with Article 179 of the 1992 Constitution and the Public Financial Management Act, 2016 (Act 921).
This will be Hon Amin’s first budget presentation since his assumption of office earlier this year in the stead of former Finance Minister Ken Ofori Atta.
