Information stumbled upon indicates that former Chief of Staff in the erstwhile John Mahama government, Hon Julius Debrah has lost his brother.

The brother, who was affectionately known as CAMBODIA, is a retired soldier who went into business following his retirement from the Ghana Armed Forces.

Intel picked up at 37 Military Hospital mentioned the official name of the deceased as Mr. Isaac Debrah.

The former Chief of Staff is expected to be leading his family to announce preparations for the final funeral rites and burial of the late brother, in line with Akan tradition.

The Late Isaac Debrah was widely rumored to be an elder brother of Chief of Staff Julius Debrah. However, a credible source to the family dispelled that rumor and insisted, Hon Julius Debrah is the eldest among the siblings.

On preparations for the interment, another source said the family plans to meet in the coming week to set the date. It was explained that the Debrahs need clearance from their Kwahu and Oda family heads before such arrangement can be announced.

Just before press time, a WhatsApp message seen by this reporter, stated: “The Debrah family announces with the deepest sorrow and pain, the sudden death of our brother Isaac Nkansah Debrah, alias Cambodia.”

The announcement further explained that the family will gather to welcome visitors on Monday 1st August, 2022 in the residence of the deceased at K Boat Junction, via Dome Pillar 2, Accra.
