Take your time and read.

Having been in the music industry for close to 45 years without blemish only for him to make a comment on a “Singing Marathon” to break a world record at the Guinness Book of Records and have this clap back and negative reactions from the populace on his hard won reputation, is despicable and unfortunate. Zapp Mallet is my senior colleague in the music industry and i accord him so much respect.

I am not holding brief for Zapp Mallet. Far from that however, i am looking at his caliber. I don’t know why he fell on the altar of this “bad tweets” from him. Looking at his tweets, i am beginning to believe that, he didn’t grasp the basic rules of engagement of this world record breaking attempt by Afua Asantewaa O Aduonum resulting in his “faux pas”.

In reading and imbibing his reactions on Twitter, probably, he was talking from the professional point of a production with particular reference to, voice quality, pitch, unique style, tone and texture. This record breaking attempt, is oblivious of all this “koominini” professional inclinations and rules. Just sing and break a record not sing in C#, F minor diminished 7th chords etc. Lol 😆.

This attempt by Afua, is an energy depressant and tiring trial and therefore, needs our push. Knowing Zapp Mallet and his contributions in the music field, he wouldn’t have said this if he was fully aware of the rules of engagement in this record breaking attempt.

The child, has been asked not to go to the backyard, he hesitated and got bitten by a snake. Will we allow him to die or save his life because of his truancy?

Let’s find a place in our heart and forgive Zapp Mallet for saying something meant for a good cause at the wrong time as being espoused by many. The insinuations and insults on him alone on the social media space, is unmatched! Herrr!

Zapp Mallet nso WKHKYD? Zapp, should have closed his Zip for his Mall not to open for “make we enter skolom”. Lol 😆. We move, Asantewaa wins. Let love ❤️ win. Go and sin no more Zapp but sing in the Zapp Band of the 70’s.

Good beads don’t rattle.
