National Democratic Congress (NDC) – the largest opposition party in Ghana, on Saturday, December 17, 2022, held its 10th National Delegates conference at the Accra Sports stadium
Party Delegates from across the regions voted for the positions of chairman, Vice Chairman, General secretary, Deputy General Secretary, National organizer, Women organizer, Deputy National Organizer, Communication Officer, Deputy communication officers, Zongo Caucaus co-ordinator, and other positions.
At the end, the immediate past General Secretary of the NDC, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah defeated his former boss, Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo to become the new Chairman of the party.
Meanwhile, the former Ketu South NDC MP, Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, has taken over from Johnson Asiedu Nketia as the New General Secretary.
After hours of voting, the following emerged victorious in the fierce contest.
