Music Maestro Kojo Antwi is at it again. Come December 24, he will be on stage to once again breath love into the hearts of his fans and patrons alike at the Labadi Beach Hotel, now home to his annual ritual of love feast.
As usual Mr. Music Man will not stride the night alone, a handful of others are on the bill, but there is a twist in this year’s line-up.
Over the years Kojo Antwi has been offering his platform to up-and-coming musicians who show a lot of promise to come and endear themselves to his fan base. And then there is the addition of one famous veteran musician. It does not look like that arrangement prevailed this time around.
The Maestro is coming this time with King Promise, Kwame Yeboah, Ofori Amponsah and Prince Bright of Buk Bak fame, already hit names in their own right on the music scene.
Kojo will be providing answers for that change in profile, but all eyes will also be out for what other new thing Kojo Antwi been up to apart from his Ateteakoma video release.
Last year Kojo Antwi surprised his fans when he revealed that he had played ticket seller for patrons who called to reserve seats by disguising his voice, topping that up with various gifts and public acknowledgements for a good number of them.
What likely is Kojo Antwi about to bless the 24th December night with? That, for now is a mystery. What is certain is that the line-up of artistes promises a sizzling night – all painted in the colours of love.
