The Ghana Football Association has announced that the opening weekend of the Premier League will be played simultaneously on Sunday, 29 December, 2019 at 3pm.
This means nine venues will thrill fans when the new 2019/20 season gets underway.
But the statement further read: ”The Association will however announce a schedule which will see subsequent matchdays played between Friday and Sunday at different times.”
Giants Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko are at home in Accra and Kumasi and will host Berekum Chelsea and Eleven Wonders FC respectively.
Aduana Stars start their season at home and they face Inter Allies while AshantiGold entertain returnees Great Olympics in Obuasi.
At the Nana Gyeabour Park, Bechem United will host Elmina Sharks and the Theatre of Dreams in Dawu will have Dreams FC take on King Faisal.
Ebusua Dwarfs host Medeama SC at the Cape Coast Stadium and Karela United FC play at the adopted Akroon Community Park in Tarkwa against WAFA.
Liberty Professionals are at the Alhaji Sly Tetteh Park in Dansoman against Wa All Stars FC.
