The Management of the Ghana Water Company – Accra West Region, has announced a temporary interruption in water supply for customers in parts of Accra.
In a press release dated February 28, 2025, and signed by Communications Manager Solace Akomeah, the company stated that the disruption will last for seven days, from Saturday, March 1, to Friday, March 7, 2025.
“The disruption exercise is to allow for critical maintenance works at the Treatment Plant to improve water supply,” the statement read.
The affected areas include Amasaman, Toman, Sapeiman, Pobiman, Obeyeyie, Daaresalam, Fise, Amanfrom, parts of Pokuase, and surrounding communities.
The company expressed regret for any inconvenience the disruption may cause and urged residents in these areas to store enough water ahead of the maintenance period.
