Born on Wednesday, July 22, 1992, Millicent Yeboah Amankwah is a political dynamo who stormed into Ghana’s 9th Parliament with a resounding victory in the 2024 elections. Representing Sunyani West in the Bono Region, she unseated Ignatius Baffour Awuah—owner of Nsoatreman FC and the constituency’s MP since 2013—claiming 26,828 votes to his 19,716. A first-time parliamentarian, Millicent’s triumph marks the dawn of a promising career.

A graduate of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, she once served as the SRC Women’s Commissioner. Her political journey gained momentum when she outshone Justice Samuel Adjei in the National Democratic Congress (NDC) primaries, securing her spot as the party’s candidate. Beyond politics, Millicent is a child rights advocate, philanthropist, and the Executive Director of Success Initiative Consult (SIC), driven by a passion to uplift the underprivileged.

Issah Atta, MP for Sagnarigu (32)

Born on Saturday, May 2, 1992, Issah Atta—sometimes known as Atta Issah—brings academic rigor and political savvy to the 9th Parliament as the representative for Sagnarigu in the Northern Region. A proud member of the NDC, Issah clinched the seat in the 2024 elections with a commanding 44,530 votes (74.38%), leaving his New Patriotic Party (NPP) rival, Felicia Tetteh, trailing with 15,338 votes (25.62%).
