Ghanaian born-British Tariqe Kwesi Fosu was on target for Oxford United on Saturday against Gillingham.
The Ghanaian winger netted his seventh league goal in the English third tier this season for Oxford United.
Fosu, 24, found the back of the net to break the virginity of the match with just 16 minutes of play to put the away team ahead.
Oxford United dominated the first half but failed to add to their tally as the half ended 1-0 to leave Gillingham a chance to come back into the match.
Just after the hour mark, Alex Rodriguez committed a foul in the penalty area to hand the home team a chance to draw level.
Olly Lee of Gillingham converted the resulting spot kick expertly with his right foot into the top right corner to make it 1-1.
Both teams couldn’t find the all-important second goal to secure a win as it ended in a stalemate.
The Ghanaian left winger has now been involved in 10 goals in the league this season scoring seven times with three assists to his name.
