Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Jackson IT Solutions, Jackson Antwi, presented her with a branded diary with a beautiful picture and name by Jackson IT Solutions recognizing her pivotal role in Ghana’s new media landscape.
The presentation in Accra, on February 14, was to recognise her role in Ghana’s new media.
Jackson IT Solutions, located at Tesano in Accra, further acknowledged her work.
During the presentation, Antwi praised Ekpe’s dedication, citing their connection on social media and the auspicious occasion of National Chocolate Day as reasons for the celebration.
“I connected with her on social media, and today being National Chocolate Day, I decided to celebrate her,” he said.
Expressing her gratitude, Ekpe highlighted the importance of online presence and emphasized the power of new media in connecting people.
She encouraged individuals, especially those not yet active online, to recognize the significant opportunities and discussions occurring in digital spaces.
She emphasized the transformative potential of engaging in online conversations and encouraged others to embrace the digital era for greater outreach and impacts.
Rebecca Ekpe emphasised the significance of online presence and the new media’s ability to connect people.
“For those of you who are not online, you need to understand that there’s a lot happening online for young people.
They are very much present online. For us, the older ones, we are trying to stay connected online. And it’s very important that we move the conversation from offline to online because a lot is happening.”
“There is magic happening online, so for those of you who are not online, you need to understand that there is a lot happening there.”
She also advised her audience to utilise online platforms to promote their products, noting the strong online presence of GBC.
