Ghana’s Black Galaxies have received great news as captain Gladson Awako has returned to training following an injury scare against Algeria in a friendly game last Saturday.
The Accra Hearts of Oak captain is back training with the rest of his teammates as they get ready to face some of the best home-based teams in Africa.
The vastly experience was replaced with Dreams FC’s Slyvester Simba after just 25 minutes into the international friendly match against Algeria after suffering an injury.
His return to the pitch will of course delight Annor Walker who hopes to keep his skipper fit for the Group Stages.
Ghana will play Mozambique in a friendly game on Wednesday and start their CHAN campaign on January 15. They are in Group C with Morocco, Madagascar and Sudan.
