The Goaso Traditional Council has officially confirmed the passing of the Goaso Manhene, Nana Kwasi Bosomprah I. The announcement was made on Monday, December 23, by Nana Kwabena Nketiah, the Goaso Manhene Nsumankwaahene, who explained that Nana Bosomprah had been unwell and was undergoing treatment before his demise.

Addressing the announcement, the Goaso Manhemaa, Nana Afia Serwaa, emphasized that no foul play was involved in the chief’s death and warned against any individuals attempting to declare themselves as the new chief. She urged the traditional council to handle such situations firmly to maintain order and respect for traditional protocols.

It is worth noting that rumors about the chief’s death had circulated earlier but were refuted when Nana Bosomprah himself held a press conference on November 11, asserting his well-being.

Nana Kwasi Bosomprah I was enstooled as the paramount chief of Goaso in 2008, marking over 15 years of leadership. His passing is a significant loss to the Goaso Traditional Council and the community at large.
