ICE Africa Digital has announced a dedicated content stream for gambling affiliates, with a series of iGB Affiliate sessions taking place on 28 October.
This year, sessions will focus on tailoring marketing and product development in the post-pandemic era, featuring a series of high-profile industry experts sharing their experiences in panels, fireside chats and webinars.
Africa’s gaming markets present a new series of opportunities – and challenges – to operators. iGB Affiliate Africa will host discussions on how to succeed on a continent where volume is more important than lifetime value, and on player education when online gambling is in its infancy.
“In the wake of Covid-19, operators, regulators and players across Africa are increasingly waking up to the potential of online gambling,” Clarion Gaming conference manager Curtis Roach commented.
“This creates huge opportunities for agile affiliates, and this content stream will provide the know-how to help them make a success of their African operations.”
iGB Affiliate group event director Naomi Barton added: “We were really eager to participate in ICE Africa Digital in order to introduce a strong marketing stream to the show. The event already featured leading regulators, operators and other industry stakeholders, and now includes a strong affiliate presence.”
The iGB Affiliate Africa content stream forms part of ICE Africa Digital, the leading gaming industry trade show for the continent, which has moved online for 2020 as a result of Covid-19. All content will be streamed live on the Swapcard platform then made available on-demand, in both English and French for the first time.
