The benchmark index (GSE-Composite Index) of the Ghana Stock Exchange saw no change to close at 3,131.99 points, placing its YTD return at 28.15%.
The Financial Stocks Index similarly stood still at 1,973.83 points, pegging its YTD loss at -3.84%.
There were no gainers nor decliners on Wednesday’s trading day resulting in market capitalization staying put at GH¢73.80 billion.
Some 93,389 shares were traded, valued at GH¢118,185.60 on a trading day that saw seventeen (17) stocks exchange hands.
Volumes traded and value traded were 68.50% and 68.55% lower respectively, compared to the previous trading day.
MTNGH topped the day trading with 49,535 shares. This was followed by PBC which saw 24,034 shares valued at GH¢480.68 trade.
The other stocks that made up the top five traded stocks were FML, ETI and GOIL.
