The benchmark index of the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE-Composite Index) closed higher at 3,504.23, posting a YTD return of 11.95%.

The GSE Financial Stocks Index similarly advanced 26.2 points to end the day at 2,044.52 points, returning 7.52% YTD.

GCB rose GH¢0.34 to close at a new year high of GH¢4.20 while MTNGH and ACCESS earned GH¢0.04 and GH¢0.35 respectively, to close at GH¢1.60 and GH¢4.80.

GLD ended the session lower at GH¢318.00 representing a GH¢4.00 loss. Consequently, total market capitalization grew to conclude the day at GH¢78,339.25 billion.

Today’s trading session recorded a total turnover of GH¢12,134,143.18 (down 0.08%), from the exchange of thirteen (13) different counters.
