Angela List, the woman whose hirelings arrested and burnt an illegal miner to death in the Western Region for allegedly encroaching on her mining concession, has attacked the home of her estranged husband.
Once more, Madam List who is reportedly in amorous affairs with popular politicians fell on her connection to enlist the help of state security agents and land guards to invade the house of her husband, who is currently occupying his company’s bungalow after Mrs. List had thrown him out of their matrimonial home he owned and paid for.
In the latest development from the freak show that the woman had turned the 20-year marriage into, Mrs. List and the hoodlums stormed the house and broke into the house to change the locks, but it took quick-thinking Mr. List, probably acting on alerts from neighbours, to foil the attempt.
Mr. List reportedly called the Police in what forced some of the land guards to bolt. Reliable sources told Whatsup News that when the Police arrived on the scene, they said they needed to defer to their “Superior” before they could act against Mrs. List’s invasion.
As it turned out, this so-called “superior” is believed to be an appointee of President Akufo-Addo, who had accompanied the hoodlums and some state security agents to undertake the raid on Paul List.
The appointee was parked in an unmarked vehicle close to the scene, Whatsup News gathered.
Upon further banter between Mr. List and the police officers he had called to arrest the invaders, the telephone number of the said superior was given as 0244370410. It is currently unclear which government appointee this number belongs to.
Whatsup News has seen videos of the events as they unfolded.
The house is a flat within the Vanguard Heights, Cantonments. Mr. List was out of the house when his ex-wife stormed the place with suspected state security agents and some carpenters.
The carpenters would go straight to work, to change the door locks at the behest of madam List. However, the owner of the house would get back home and cause the arrest of the carpenters as the woman herself virtually fled in her car.
This botched attempt to lock out Mr. List is apparently part of Angela List’s all-out war on her ex-husband, from whom she divorced as a result of her alleged philandering with big-do politicians, including some Ministerial appointees of the Akufo-Addo government.
After allegedly destroying her marriage with infidelity, Angela List is now said to be on a mission to grab the properties of Mr. List, an Australian Ghanaian who owns a mining conglomerate called BCM.
And in her alleged vicious gold-digger quest, Madam List has been leveraging powers of the state, where she mostly uses the National Security to terrorize Mr. List.
Mrs. List refused to respond to Whatsup News’ inquiries into the case.
Last year, Angela List had reportedly caused the National Security to ambush Paul List at the Kotoka International Airport while returning from one of his foreign trips. They bundled him into an unmarked vehicle and drove him straight to the National Security headquarters for interrogation over his company BCM.
Apparently, Angela List through her political connection had been attempting to use the state to seize the company from her husband and had been searching for some dirt on him.
Already, Angela List is alleged to have stolen US$9.5 belonging to BCM, her ex-husband’s company. From this money, she has bought a private jet, a resort in the Western Region called Lou Moon and shares in a company called Cardinal Resources Limited.
Madam List was also in the news when security guards of Adamus Mining resources arrested and burnt alive, an illegal miner for allegedly encroaching on a mining concession belonging to Adamus. This was because Angela List controls Adamus, which is also a company she had virtually attempted to yank off her embattled husband.
It is believed that the torching of the victim, Michael Budo, who would later die at the Korle-Bu Teaching hospital from his wounds, was at the express instruction of Angela List whose brutal inhuman tactics are said to have made the Sierra Leonean government close some mining business ventures of hers.
Meanwhile, multiple litigations are ongoing between Paul List and his wife over his business empire. Angela List is reported to have enlisted the help of several state agencies through her political connections to seize Paul List’s properties.
