I don’t Regret Leaving Ghana- ‘Cantata’ Actress Julie Juu

The joy she found with them necessitated her decision to stay and says has no regret leaving Ghana.

Abena Achiaa Julie Juu of Cantata fame has stated that she has no regrets after relocating to the United Kingdom (UK) over ten years ago.

The objective, she said, was to get closer to her family- a decision which has over the past eleven years proven to be worthy.

In an interview on the sidelines of the Ghana Party in the Park in London, the actress said her initial intent was to visit her children abroad and return home following her husband’s demise.

However, the intent changed when she found the comfort and solace she badly needed to fill the empty gap that had been left within her by her husband in her children in the UK.

“After my husband, Nana Bosomprah, passed away, I felt incredibly lonely and sought solace in my children’s company. You know it is not easy to lose your husband suddenly,” she is quoted by 3News as saying in an interview with Zionfelix.

The joy she found with them necessitated her decision to stay and says has no regret leaving Ghana.

“I have not regretted at all. I believe if I were living in Ghana, by now I would have been weak and frail with a wrinkled body. At the moment even if I stopped working my children will take care of me.”

The actress whose videos intermittently trend on social media provokes questions about her location.
