I was not scammed, I paid offertory – Victim of Agradaa’s money-doubling scheme narrates

“She is someone I really admire that’s why I came. I won’t say anything bad about her because of what has happened. I paid offertory

A victim of Nana Agradaa’s money-doubling scam has said despite what has happened to her, she admires the evangelist so much such that, she can’t speak ill against her.

The lady who said she travelled from Sunyani with a GH₵1,000.00 noted she paid an offering and made donations with the rest of the money including the coins she had.

According to her, her admiration for Evangelist Patricia Asiedu, a.k.a. Agradaa is what made her travel “all the way from Sunyani” for her share of the GH₵300,000.00 Agradaa displayed in an ad as capital.

However, after making a donation she was asked to make to get it doubled for her,she realised everything was a scam.
“I saw the add on TV and I came with GH₵1,000 because I needed money to trade. I came from Sunyani. I gave her everything without leaving even lorry fare because she said she was going to give us money. She took everything even the coins. Someone even had to give me money.

“She is someone I really admire that’s why I came. I won’t say anything bad about her because of what has happened. I paid offertory.

“So we asked her to give us lorry fare and even that she didn’t want to. So we pleaded with someone who went to apologise on our behalf and she made us queue.

“She asked us where we were each going. If you tell her your transportation is 40 Cedis, then she gives you 10 Cedis. If you refuse, you have to sleep over. For those in Central region, it is 5 Cedis.

“So she gave some woman transportation to take us home and come this morning for our transportation. So we are here this morning but she is not here,” she cried.

Nana Agradaa has been arrested after some of her victims reported the scam incident to the police.

She is currently being investigated.
