Asante Kotoko Circles Chairman, Christopher Damenya is calling for fair officiating in the Ghana Premier League next season.
According to him, the Ghanaian giants have had a very good training and will win the 2021/2022 Ghana Premier League title if referees officiate according to the regulations of the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
“From the team’s training i have watched, all we need is good officiating in the league and we will achieve our target. We pray referees officiate according to the FIFA rules,” Christopher Damenya said in an interview on Oyerepa FM.
Asante Kotoko last season challenged for the Ghana Premier League title but could not achieve the target to lift the title.
The team lost to rivals Hearts of Oak who were eventually crowned Champions at the end of the season on the back of a spirited performance under head coach Samuel Boadu.
