2024 Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) Artiste of the Year, Livingstone Etse Satekla, better known by his stage name Stonebwoy has encouraged his fellow musicians and everyone who wishes to pursue their education to not wait till they finish their career.
According to the Ghanaian Afropop, Afro-dancehall and reggae musician, everything is about education so if anyone gets the opportunity they should take advantage to educate themselves.
“Everything is education, whether formally or informally, so let’s just grab it and be inspired,” Stonebwoy who earned Bachelor of Science degree in Public Administration from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) on Friday, July 26, 2024 said this in an interview with the media.
He said nothing is easy and nothing is difficult if you are determined to achieve something.
“When you do get the opportunity to formally educate yourself and add more knowledge, you should welcome it and prove it to the whole world, especially Ghana. I think nothing is that easy and nothing is that difficult, once it is not impossible, then it’s achievable. I think that’s what I just proved.” He said.
He added that people who get the opportunity should grab it and educate themselves to inspire others.
“And I think this is going to go a long way to inspire a whole lot of people who are looking up to educate themselves. Like I say, if you do find and get the opportunity to continuously educate yourself and know more, I think you should grab the opportunity and not wait like most of us, the musicians, we wait till we finish our career line before we start the education.” Stonebwoy added.
