Executive Director of ASEPA and the Convenor of the CSOs Against the New Register, Mensah Thompson, has hinted of a possible criminal prosecution of the Electoral Commissioner Madam Jean Mensah for causing financial loss to the State.
Speaking at the 3rd series of demonstrations organised by the Intra-Party Resistance Against the New Register in Accra on Tuesday, Mr. Thompson hinted that his outfit would push for a criminal prosecution of the EC boss in future if the latter goes ahead to waste GHC800Million on what he described as a useless exercise.
He was however optimistic that the issue would not go that if the EC see reason and #dropthenewregister.
