Juaboso: CDC lauds immediate past DCE, says She has created a big vacuum

The District Coordinating Director (CDC) of the Juaboso District Assembly (JDA) in the Western North Region, Emmanuel Esiape, has observed that the exit of former District Chief Executive (DCE) for the area, Martha Kwayie Manu, has created a big vacuum that cannot easily be filled by her successor.

He pointed out that “Obaatan Pa” (Good Mother) as she was called, was simply affable, approachable, ever smiling, opening her doors to everybody. As a result, her house became “a hospital” to the people, who thronged there virtually 24 hours a day all because of her uncomparable affability and hospitality.

“As such, it will be difficult for her immediate successor to step into her big shoes, let alone fill-in the big vacuum she has created. People used to throng her house 24 hours with various demands, especially monetary demands. And if even she does not have, she will borrow to meet their demands. In fact, Madam has created a big vacuum that cannot easily be fulfilled by her successor,” Esiape noted in an interview with ghananewsonline.com.gh.

The Assembly has been without a substantive DCE since her departure into the higher office of Deputy Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Forestry Commission.

MANAGEMENT IS PROUD OF HER

Mr. Esiape was however quick to point out that, notwithstanding the vacuum created by her exit, management of the Assembly is very proud of her. This is because she has been elevated to a higher office. He indicated that whereas other colleagues of hers were awaiting their fate in their acting capacities, Obaatan Pa had been elevated. For this reason, Esiape pointed out, that management will stand by her in soul and body and back her with prayers to ensure that she succeeds in her new position.

MADAM WAS HARDWORKING

The DCD, who now doubles as the Acting DCE attributed the elevation of her former boss to hardwork. Mr. Esiape contended that the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and Flagstaff House had also been following keenly her hardwork, hence elevating her to the new level. While wishing her good luck, Esiape maintained that Management of the Assembly and the entire work force will stand by their former boss in prayers, to enable her succeed in her new portfolio.
