Ketu South: NASPA Elects New Executives

The National Service Personnel Association (NASPA) in the Ketu South Municipality of the Volta region has elected its new executives for the 2022/2023 service year.

Six candidates contested unopposed for the various positions of President, Secretary, Financial Secretary, Organizing Secretary and Women’s Commissioner.

Volta and Oti regional director of the National Service Scheme, Ambrose Entsiwah, said in a message delivered on his behalf that the NSS is working tirelessly to address all challenges facing service personnel

“That the Scheme has placed a proposal before government to increase the allowances for service personnel and once it is approved it will be implemented,” he said.

The Public Relations Officer (PRO) for the Ketu South Education Directorate, Rev. Charles Dorkenoo, appealed to the personnel to work hard and respect authority in order to ensure a smooth service year.

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Ketu South, Maxwell Kofi Lugudor, who witnessed the occasion, urged the service personnel to offer their best and be ambitious enough to explore business opportunities to create jobs for self-reliance

Speaking with Ghananewsonline.com.gh, the newly elected NASPA President and his Vice, Hammond Lord Dotsey and Adedevoh Hope Christian, respectively promised to work tirelessly around the clock just to ensure everything is in place for more productive and memorable service year for all personnel.

The 2022-2023 Ketu South NASPA has about 147 service personnel posted to various departments in the Municipality.

Other elected members include Gonya Dzifa the Secretary, Felix Albert Ativor, Financial secretary, with Seddoh Junior Kofi emerging as Organizing secretary and Lily Botchwey as their Women’s commissioner.
