Kobi Rana Reveals Inspiration Behind First Blind Movie

“Look”, a movie written and directed by Kobi with Kafui Danku as the Executive Director, highlights the lives of persons living with disabilities.

Actor and producer Kobi Rana has revealed the motivation behind the highly anticipated and pacesetting piece set to premiere on Friday, November 1, 2024.

“Look”, a movie written and directed by Kobi with Kafui Danku as the Executive Director, highlights the lives of persons living with disabilities.

According to the multitalented Ghanaian producer, this is the first blind school movie in the entire world.

He noted that the journey to shedding more light on the blind began in 2019 through research.

“In 2019, I made worldwide research on disability and orphanage homes. I spent a lot of sleepless nights listening to their stories because of country time differences. It was painful on my heart. I cried a lot those nights. I started writing the script.

“5 years later, here we are. I hope this speaks for all children and adults in disability and orphanage home abuse. You are a survivor!” he said in a Facebook post ahead of the release of the movie.

Starring in the movie are Kobi, Kojo Jay, Daasebre, Kwaku Sakyi and others.

The piece is set to go live on Abcpicturesgh on YouTube at 8 pm.
