Charles Leclerc delivered a flawless performance to secure victory at the United States Grand Prix, leading a Ferrari one-two finish with teammate Carlos Sainz.
Lando Norris initially held the pole position but dropped to fourth after a late-race penalty, allowing Max Verstappen to claim the final podium spot.
Leclerc took the lead on the opening lap, capitalizing on a side-by-side tussle between Norris and Verstappen. From there, he enjoyed an uninterrupted drive to triumph, finishing 8.5 seconds ahead of Sainz, who effectively executed an undercut during the pit stops.
In the final stages, Norris briefly overtook Verstappen for third, but a five-second time penalty for exceeding track limits meant he finished fourth. Oscar Piastri rounded out the top five, followed by George Russell in sixth and Sergio Perez in seventh.
Notable moments included Lewis Hamilton’s early retirement after a spin and Esteban Ocon claiming the fastest lap, adding intrigue to an exciting race.
