LGBTQ ROARS: His Excellency’s son is gay

For over a century, Ghanaians have been living in denial to the facts of our social existence, where we know of or about the men and women with sexual orientations that differ or sway away from what we like to term as the ‘conventional ways’ a man and women are made to enjoy sexual intercourse.

We have for centuries lived with men who have behaved like girls and women who have behaved like boys, and yet never had issues with it , because however these men and women choose to enjoy their sexual pleasures/orientations did not put food on anyone’s table, and neither was is something they openly displayed to the eyes of the public and therefore that was okay to the vast majority of Ghanaians.

Another interesting point that many Ghanaians seem to have forgotten was when the Catholic missions invaded our country with christianity, they talked our then leaders into separating boys from girls in the school system, which led to the number of BOYS ONLY and GIRLS ONLY schools that we have littered across our school landscape.   Our leaders then, perhaps DID NOT know about the sinister dangers that lurked in the minds of some of the Catholic Fathers/Priests who got the greatest opportunities to sexually abuse many of our young boys and girls alike.

Many of us recall, the term “HOMO” which was used to classify first year students of any Secondary (High) School in the country after Ghana had gained independence.  Do you all think that term did not have any sexual connotation?  If yes then your level of denial borders around sheer ignorance and perhaps stupidity.,   because the men and women we have in the country today who went through this period are all fully aware of these incidents of boy to boy sex , and girl to girl sex .   These occurrences were of course more rampant on some campuses than others, and the guilty ones are usually the all boys and all girls boarding schools across the country.  And in that period it seemed more acceptable for the guys to see two girls being classified as ” Supi” and have no objection to them.  Though same couldnt be said about the boys since many of them did it in darkness, since the lights out on every campus across the country plunged all these schools into darkness after 10pm
Now, fast-forward to 2021, we now have a whole new crop or generation of Ghanaians who have been educated not by the school system, and neither by their parents at home, but rather by Social Media (THE INTERNET) .  The presence of the youth in Ghana today on the internet is powered by MONEY and SEX , which the internet has plenty to offer them on.  Today, various dating and social media sites/platforms are filled with pedophiles and sexual predators that the poor young boy or girl becomes vulnerable to .,  and there is no one monitoring these sites and its usage by our young boys and girls., so its a free for all garbage in , garbage out scenario.   Ghana as a country failed to prevent our youth from this cancer (the anything and everything goes disease) , and Policy Makers at the time DID NOT have the vision of preservation of our culture and traditional values.

The hypocrisy in all of us, is this, we all know Ghana has a large number of homosexuals and lesbians , some of whom are quite prominent in our society, yet we all pretend they are not what we seem them as.  It becomes therefore comical to hear MPs roar out against the LGBTQ  – Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Queer lifestyle.,  when they have all known that our former president (early 2000s) has a gay son ., and this is no news at all because many gay men and women fill up our  media/entertainment space and are all accepted by their fans , friends and family., so the real question becomes,  WHY ON GOD’s EARTH DO WESTERN NATIONS WANT US TO LEGALIZE THE PRACTICE WHEN WE HAVE FOR CENTURIES LIVED WITH THESE PEOPLE IN OUR MIDST AND NEVER HAD AN ISSUE WITH THEM??????  Pastors have gay sons, just as some Pastors also have gay lovers, and this is not news because its a well known fact to those advocating for this legislature.  Today, we have heard first hand stories of homosexuals around the presidency and in our Nation’s seat of governance – the Jubilee House, and they all know themselves.

The discussion is open /ongoing and l am sure many are those who would either be in shock or in denial to the abundance of proof/data available to back up the realities around us.  For clarity, l stand with all those that DO NOT want any form of legalization of/to acts that defy our values as a country and as a people., Western Nations MUST NOT expert everyone on this planet to dance to the same tunes they dance to.   Any to the females out there, if your brother, boyfriend, father , son , uncle or colleague has Apps like Grindr / Adam4Adam / Romeo / Hitwe / MeetMe etc etc on their mobile phones then be certain they are all homosexuals in hiding.   Our entertainment industry is filled with them, and  80% of those super well dressed boys/men all have and hold homosexual tendencies as well as perform homosexuality.  Even well known married bloggers who make a lot of noise in our Entertainment space are all closet cases.   Lets address this issue once and for all with those countries in the West that seem to not understand that we are not them and cant ever be like them.   God bless our Homeland Ghana.
