Office of the former president John Dramani Mahama has debunked a report in the Wednesday April 8th edition of the Daily Guide Newspaper, which claims the former president was demanding the return of a bauxite concession to his brother before he will ‘gel’ with the sitting president.
A release from the office of the former president signed by Felix Kwakye Ofosu described the publication as nothing but a figment of the imagination of the editor of the said newspaper and his so called sources.
The release further stated that former president Mahama in the aftermath of the Supreme Court judgment on his petition indicated that even though he disagrees with the court, he was nonetheless bound by the verdict.
