A Former Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for the Dormaa Central Municipality, Gordon Asubonteng, has said that Ghana as a country needs a very experienced candidate who has vision to reset and return it to its part of development and prosperity.
According to him, John Mahama is the surest bet who is readily ready to provide leadership to turn things around now as the country is at a crossroad. He said there is no need to experiment with leadership of Ghana.
He lambasted Ghanaians who always criticize the long-time participation of the NDC 2024 Presidential candidate John Mahama in the Governance processes of the country and his quest to become Ghana’s President again come January 2025.
In an interview with Kwaku Mensah Abrampa on GIFTS FM Breakfast Show dubbed Anopa Bosuo, the Former MCE noted that John Mahama’s contributions to the country’s political history tips him as the right candidate to occupy the seat of president again so as to help spearhead the affairs of the country and enhance development in the country.
He indicated that the current state of the country which the current administration has subjected Ghanaians to demands a president who is experienced, tried and tested to deliver the country from the mess created by Akufo-Addo/Bawumia led government and build a development-driven economy and a country of hope for the betterment of the citizenry.
Emphasizing the quality leadership displayed by the former president and the NDC 2024 Presidential Candidate, Gordon Asubonteng disclosed that John Mahama in his four years as a president embarked on a lot of infrastructure development projects which included the construction of Health facilities, school buildings, revamped universities in the country and the expansion of airports and harbours within his 4years mandate since those are the projects needed for developing country to fast-track development and growth.
He explained the concept of the John Mahama’s proposed 24-hour economy and described it as a game changer which according to him will enhance the economic growth within the country, create sustainable Jobs and expand businesses.
He accused the current administration of mismanaging the country’s economy resulting in hardship on the masses and underscored the need for NDC members, sympathizers and the citizenry to vote massively for John mahama to win the 2024 Elections.
