Gospel artiste and a member of Alan Kyerematen’s Movement for Change, Grace Ashly, has noted that many of her colleagues are in the political space but cannot come out because they want to reap from all caucuses.
She says those who feel that coming out to support one politician will make them lose from the other side have been doing hide and seek.
“Many celebrities can’t come out and do the politics because they want to reap from both caucuses. If you belong to one space, come out for everyone to see,” she urged.
She has debunked the assertion that doing politics as a musician brings your career down, saying “if you’ll come down, you’ll come down, it is not politics.”
According to the woman who says “I have never regretted doing politics”, “there are people with genuine hearts and others with fake hearts and whenever the fake ones meet the genuine ones, they want to fight those with the genuine hearts to exit for them to take over.”
She was speaking with Onua FM’s afternoon political show, PaeMuKa, when she made the comments.
