A beauty pageant has been launched to empower and challenge young people to make impact on their fellow young people, especially the unfortunate ones who have found themselves on the streets.
The fundamental objective of the newly launched Miss International pageant is to give young people hope while reintegrating them back into society by giving them skills and vocational training as they help the projects of this young queens.
“Miss International Ghana is missioned to empower future leaders to face tomorrow’s challenges,” stated Henry Morgan, Founder and CEO of the pageant.
The pageant is expected to give opportunities to the participants to initiate their own welfare projects for deprived children. The project should give solutions in fighting streetism, among others.
“In our quest to empower young people and also make impact on children, the Miss International Ghana project believes that the greatest legacy any society, organization or individual can give to a child are the triple points of Education, Skills and Hope,” stated Sam Adams, the National Coordinator of the project.
