While describing the Nana Akufo-Addo administration as visionary, Osei-Asare told the people that the President intents to turn the hospital into a Universal one as pertained elsewhere in the next five years. It is for this reason that Nana Akufo-Addo’s administration should be given four (4) more years to enable it continue with its good works for the people, she pointed out.
The MP has also supplied the town with 20 bags of cement, two (2) packets of roofing sheets and GH¢5,000 to help them put up a Day Care centre at the Hospital so that nursing nurses at the place can continue with their good work after weaning their babies after three months. She noted that with their children close by them at the centre nursing nurses can work to perfection.
Supplying the beds the MP pointed out that she and the DCE were always in touch with the hospital staff and they noted that they were in die need of the beds hence their supply.
She urged the people to endeavor to take a better care of them so that they can last and also be added to. She pointed out that it was the vision of the president and herself to turn the Enyiresi Government into one of the best in the country. She also urged nurses to be hospitable to patients, since that alone can soothe their sickness even before medication.
The DCE, Lawyer Kwabena Nkansah Paning, while urging the people to acknowledge the good works of the MP, charged them to discard rumours that he and the MP wanted to move the Enyiresi Hospital to Anyinam.
He argued that if that was the case why then did they re-roof the facility, renovate the OPD, build doctors bungalow, give CHIPS compound, bring day care and many more? What is more, the MP had recently donated incubators, pointing out that the spate at which developments were going on in the constituency just after two years of creation, had even attracted the envy of many.
The District Health Director, Vida Efua Afful, while thanking the MP for the items, indicated that thought she had not been therefore for long, she had heard and seen all that the MP had done for the hospital.
