MTN announces upward tariff review effective November 28

Telecommunications giant MTN has officially informed its subscribers of an upcoming tariff review scheduled to take effect from Tuesday, November 28, 2023. In a text message sent to customers, the company cited increased operational costs as the reason for the upward revision in the prices of MTN products.

The message reads, “Dear Valued Customer, kindly be informed that effective 28th November 2023, the prices of MTN products will be revised upwards due to increased operational costs. Continue enjoying our special offers on our network.” MTN further encouraged subscribers to visit its website, www.mtn.com.gh, for more details.

It’s noteworthy that MTN had initially announced a 15% upward review of mobile data prices, slated for Monday, November 14, 2022. However, the implementation was later postponed, and the company assured customers of timely updates regarding the rescheduled implementation date.
