Marketing and Communication expert, Israel Susuli, has officially filed his nomination forms to contest the parliamentary primaries of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Dome-Kwabenya Constituency amidst pomp and pageantry, from delegates and party faithfuls from across the Constituency.
Mr. Susuli explained in a statement after the submission that he is hungry to take over the Dome Kwabenya seat which is currently being held by Sarah Adwoa Safo of the New Patriotic Party (NPP). He has appealed for the collaboration of all delegates to surmount this task.
He also called on the rank and file of the NDC to unite to rescue the constituency from the NPP in the upcoming general elections.
“I am grateful for your overwhelming endorsement for me to contest as Parliamentary Candidate of the NDC in the DKC. I will continue to rely on your collaboration to rescue Dome Kwabenya from the enemies within and the enemies without and also from the doldrums imposed on us by a bunch of NPP nation wreckers. I am ever ready to work with you, fellow Compatriots, to unleash a fierce but swift campaign to secure our victory first as PC, and then as MP,” he noted in a statement.
He further called on all NDC delegates and members of the party in the constituency to rally behind him and the umbrella symbol so they can make history together as the first ever NDC MP for the area. He emphasized that his victory would be the victory of the grassroots of the NDC in the constituency.
“Let today be written in gold, as the real foundation for the NDC’s victory in 2024. Today our victory is established through our new found cohesion and unity. Today, the grassroots of the NDC in the Dome Kwabenya Constituency is one more step closer to annexing power from a confused and clueless NPP reign in Ghana in general and in the Dome Kwabenya Constituency specifically,” he added.
He urged the gallant youth, women and men, branch executives, opinion leaders and constituency executives to be resolute in following the road that leads to victory and that the road is that of collaboration, cohesion, humility, honesty and human relations.
Mr. Isreal Salisu insists he is poised for victory for the grassroots over division and discord which ultimately impeded the victory of the NDC in the 2020 elections and made void the investment of resources across board.
He says he is looking forward to a victory that represents the redemption of the grassroots in a progressive Dome Kwabenya Constituency.
