Information from the NDC party office indicates that one person has been arrested by the Ejisu District Police for handling six thumb printed ballot papers.
This was made known by the Ashanti Regional Communications Officer, Nurudeen Abass at a press conference during the election.

According to him, a vehicle is moving through the Ashanti Region and distributing already thumb printed ballot papers to polling centres, urging voters to stay at the various polling stations to observe what is going on there.
