The New Abirem Constituency of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has witnessed a landmark ceremony of a sod cutting to commence the construction of an ultramodern office complex for the Party in the New Abirem Constituency of the Eastern region. The Project is expected to provide a permanent office for the Party.
The Constituency Chairman, Baffour Bannor Berima Bannor, during his campaign for elections promised to build an office complex with his team for the Party when elected. This is to enable evacuate from the rented office that they are occupying currently
He said the Office will cost Ghc 45,000.00, and will constitute 17 offices, two visitors’ room, one big Auditorium that will take about thousand people, a Conference Hall, as well as a Media Center. He believed that when fully completed it will contribute to the enhancement of the success of the party in the Constituency.
Some of the dignitaries who graced the occasion included the Member of Parliament (MP) for the area, John Osei Frempong, District Chief Executive Raymond Nana Damptey (DCE), other Party Executives and Supporters.
The MP showed his appreciation to the steps taking by the Party chairman and for that matter promised to support with 100 bags of cement.
Hon Reymond Nana Damptey, the District Chief Executive for Birim North also promised to support them with 100 bags of cement.
