Nicholas Gyan has landed in South Africa ahead of a trial at Black Leopards FC, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively report.
The former Ebusua Dwarfs captain arrived in South Africa on Thursday evening and will be joining Black Leopards on Friday for training.
Gyan is expected to train with the Thohoyandou based side for at least a week and if he impresses he will sign with them in the coming days.
The 30-year-old was reported to have joined Ghana Premier League side Aduana Stars earlier in January but he is yet to kick a ball in new season.
He left Tanzanian giants Simba SC in December 2019 following the expiration of his contract.
Gyan won the Tanzania Premier League with Simba SC in the 2018/2019 season and went ahead to the quarter-finals of the CAF Champions League.
