In a disturbing incident at a financial institution in Nkawkaw, the Ghana Police Service announced the arraignment of Ayivor Elikplim on June 26, 2024. Elikplim, who was arrested on June 25, 2024, faced charges of assaulting a female work colleague.
During his appearance before the Nkawkaw District Court, Elikplim pleaded guilty to the assault charge. Consequently, he was convicted on his own plea and remanded into police custody. His next court appearance is scheduled for June 28, 2024, with the sentence deferred to July 2, 2024.
