Noeline Haylett and friends Support the Vulnerable in Ghana

The various working equipments and machines we have received is going to help us greatly as we engage more young but vulnerable girls to learn at our center to become the best.

 

A philanthropist – Noeline Haylett, and her benevolent friends in County Mayo, Ireland, have supported various communities and organizations in Ghana with relief items to make them efficient in delivering their services to the poor and vulnerable in the country.

Some of the Institutions that benefited from the donations include the Upper East Catholic Education Unit, Women Now Training Center, Roses Pastry Parlor, Shamrock Youth Club and the Volta Regional Salvation Army Education Unit.

Speaking to ghananewsonline.com.gh, Chief Facilitator of Roses Pastry Parlor, Madam Vida Anorpansio, expressed delight at the kind gesture by Madam Noeline Haylett and admitted that she has been a pillar behind the center which seeks to train deprived women and girls in pastry making to support their family income.

“The various working equipments and machines we have received is going to help us greatly as we engage more young but vulnerable girls to learn at our center to become the best. We can’t find the right words to describe the kindness exhibited towards us by our Chief Patron Mama Noeline,” she noted.

Derek Kumah, Leader of the Shamrock Youth Club – a youth club to prohibit the youth from engaging in social vices, explained that the club was entangled by which activities to engage the members over the years, however, Noeline and her friends opened a new chapter for the club to start training its members and other youth in its catchment area in Long Tennis with the donation of tennis balls and many rackets to aid this great mission.

“We were thinking what other activities we can introduce into the lineup of activities that our club engages in and lo and behold Mama Noeline has come to our rescue with this rackets and tennis ball to start lessons in Long tennis, I believe the children will love it very much. We say a big thank you to Noeline Hayett and her team for all the good works.

Various schools and hospitals in the Greater Accra, Volta and Upper East regions will benefit from the donation to aid teaching and learning activities thereby improving the quality of Education in those areas.
