The non-release of the District Assemblies Common Fund (DACF) has caused an over 3-hour parliamentary standoff.
The move has, in turn, delayed the much-anticipated mid-year budget review by the Finance Minister, Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam.
Members of the Minority are up in arms with the government over the delay in releasing the funds. Some have confirmed to newsalertgh.com that without the funds, they will boycott the budget presentation.
