NPP National Youth Organizer Challenges John Mahama’s Legacy; Hails Bawumia as the Future of Ghana

The launch of the NPP’s manifesto is expected to set the stage for what promises to be a heated political contest, with the party positioning itself as the choice for Ghana’s future.

In a spirited interview with Akua Boakyewaa Yiadom (ABY) of Adom TV, the National Youth Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Salam Mustapha, issued a bold challenge to former President John Dramani Mahama, asserting that Mahama has no significant legacy to his name. Mustapha dared the former president to prove otherwise as the NPP gears up for the 2024 general elections.

During the interview, which took place on Sunday at the launch of the NPP’s manifesto for the upcoming elections, Mustapha emphasized that Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia represents the future of Ghana. He described Bawumia as a visionary thinker and problem-solver, whose leadership will propel the country forward.

“Our manifesto contains a lot of hope for the youth,” Mustapha stated, highlighting the NPP’s focus on youth-centric policies. He noted that the manifesto offers a comprehensive and holistic package designed to address the specific needs of Ghana’s younger population. Mustapha assured the youth that the NPP has a well-thought-out strategy aimed at transforming the socio-economic landscape, especially for the younger generation.

He urged Ghanaians to be prepared for a “totally different story” under the leadership of Dr. Bawumia, signaling a new era of governance that prioritizes innovation and practical solutions to the nation’s challenges.
