The door to door and community engagement strategies have currently been adopted by the parties.

At Adansi-Asokwa in the Ashanti Region, some supporters of the New Patriotic Party who were at a mini-rally suddenly ditched the event when they saw the presidential candidate for Alliance for Revolutionary Change, Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen.

They mobbed him, demanded his t-shirt and wore it on top on the NPP shirt.

“I am a supporter of the NPP but I’m voting for Alan for his contribution to the party”, Osei Nsiah said.

Agnes Agyemang also indicated that “some of us are likely going to vote skirt and blouse in this election. We need to reward Alan for his service for the party”.

Alan, a former member of the elephant party resigned to contest as an independent candidate after claims of unfair treatment meted out to him by the NPP leadership.

The Movement for Change founder and leader together with his team are touring 350 communities in 47 constituencies in the Ashanti Region to campaign and canvass for more votes.

At Fomena, Alan and his team also received a rousing welcome from residents and the traders, assuring him of their support.
