NPP’s Kamaldeen gives Unobjectionable Reasons for Akufo-Addo’s Failure

An Elections and Research Officer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Amasaman Constituency of the Greater Accra Region, Kamaldeen Ibrahim, has in a Facebook post given unobjectionable reasons with pictorial evidence why Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo- Addo has failed as a the President of this country. The officer of the NPP posted three different pictures of heaps of garbage in sacks along the shoulders of some principal streets of Accra with the caption; “Welcome to the BEAUTIFUL CITY OF ACCRA…”

His post can be said to be a reminder to President Akufo-Addo about his failed promise to make Accra the cleanest city in Africa.

It is on record that on April 2017, President Akufo-Addo pledged in an address to the people of Jamestown and the Ngleshie Alata Traditional Council after he had been installed a chief under the title Nii Kwaku Abladey Okudzeaman, that, he will make Accra the cleanest city in Africa;

“The commitment we are making and which I want you all to make with me is that by the time we end our four-year term, Accra is going to be the cleanest city in Africa,” he stated.

According to some Ghanaians who support the #FIXTHECOUNTRY Campaign, Kamaldeen’s post and other post from staunch officers of the NPP and members criticizing the abysmal performance of President Akufo-Addo and his appointees openly and on social media is the remote cause of the #FIXTHECOUNTRY Campaign that erupted on social media some weeks ago.
