The Local Government Minster, Martin Adjei-Mensah Korsah, has ordered for the demolition of the footings of a building constructed in the middle of a main road.
The building is situated in the main road within the Ofankor community in the Ga North Municipality of the Greater Accra region.
The Minister took the action after the entire residents petitioned his office.
After inspecting the structure and undertaking the necessary steps, he ordered for the demolition of the building four days after.
Mr. Adjei-Mensah has issued a warning to persons building in road ways to desist from it before incurring the wrath of the State.
