Cagliari have completed the signing of Ghana midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah, the club has announced.
Asamoah joins Cagliari till the end of the season after ending his stay with Inter Milan last summer.
Cagliari Calcio announces that it has acquired the sport performances of Kwadwo Asamoah: the player has signed a contract that binds him to the Club until the end of the current season,” the club wrote on their official website.
The 31-year-old began his playing career in Ghana with Liberty Professionals before moving to Italy as a 20-year-old sign for Udinese.
He spent a brief spell with Torino before moving to Juventus after four years with Udinese.
At the age of twenty, he arrived in Italy: after a spell with Torino Primavera (January 2008), the following season he moved to Udinese.
At Juve he won 6 Scudettos, 4 Italian Cups and 3 Italian Supercups.
He played 156 games, including 27 between Champions League and Europa League, scoring 5 goals.
Later he moved to Inter spending only two years, playing 53 matches for the Nerazzuris.
Asamoah has played 71 times for the national team of Ghana and scoring 4 goals.
