Parliamentary Candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Okaikoi Central Constituency, Abdul Rashid Issah, has begun the distribution of 50,000 face masks to his Constituents.
The NDC parliamentary candidate started the distribution today at the Abeka Market where he shared face masks to the market women and interacted with people including buyers. He is scheduled to continue the excercise through out this week and beyond in support of the fight against the spread of the novel COVID-19 pandemic.
Rashid Issah used the occasion to sensitize the market women and men on the needs for them to wear the face mask and take precautionary measures against the pandemic.
Among the delegation that joined the candidate in the distribution excercise were the constituency vice chairman Osmanu Seidu, Secretary Ebenezer Potakey, Women’s Organizer Lydia Angel Nutakor, Organizer Emmanuel Thompson, Communication Officer Ibrahim Osumanu, Deputy Women’s Organizer Hajia Lantana, Hajia Merry Sami and Hajia Hausatu Lard Gariba both Constituency Executives and some branch Executives.
